Crosstraining means changing up what you do so you don’t just run! I know, I know,
but
you
LOVE it! You will love cross training, too. Cross training is a very important
part of any
athlete’s
training program as it helps keep the body healthy! Swim, bike, walk, strength
train,
take
fitness classes, yoga, do fitness videos, etc. Cross training can be done in
one workout,
weekly,
monthly, or even over seasons. It reduces the risk of injury, boredom, and
dropping out.
It
allows our muscles and joints to move differently and continues to shock and
challenge the
body.

we do
within
3–6 weeks of doing something. We therefore need to consistently make small
